Friendship is the only cement that will ever hold the world together. – Woodrow T. Wilson
WonderPetz goes way back 2008 when we started our journey as aspiring engineers. (No one computes our age please! 😂) We’ve gone a long way since but it’s very enthralling to see how we are now from students to being a professional and some are already set out to have a family of their own.
I scoured my Facebook for our oldest photo and lo and behold:
I am grateful for the gift of friendship as I don’t have a huge circle of friends. (Nor would I prefer to have a lot TBH) There were hiccups along the years sure but I am still grateful I’ll grow old being there for their accomplishments and milestones in life.
Following up my birthday celebration with them, we went to Anilao, Batangas for an overnight getaway. Shoutout to Kuya Xyviel for sponsoring the accomodation and we hope you’ll be able to go with us next time! 🙂 Jonah and Jane was not able to go though because of the angels in their bellies needing more TLC and the place isn’t preggy friendly because of the steep and long walks in the stairs. They’ll deliver a baby should they have pursued to go!
It was a fun-filled staycation. It was overlooking the ocean and the place was just d*mn awesome. We couldn’t ask for a better weekend.
We cooked a lot of food and watched Alita on a huge televison screen.
Some videos and snips from our quick getaway below:

We forgot to take a photo of Darky’s no-bake cheesecake but it was sooooooooooooo good.

Looking forward to more adventures with you guys. Thank you for the years of friendship!
